Conference Breakout Sessions @ DTBA Stepping Up
SUMMIT will be presenting two workshops as breakout sessions for Dogwood Trails Baptist Association’s annual equipping conference for pastors and lay leaders
Sessions that SUMMIT will be presenting:
From Programs to Purpose: Building a Discipleship-Driven Men’s Ministry
Let's move past pancake breakfasts and grow followers of Jesus!
Presented by Bryan Turner, Executive Director of Summit Outdoor Leadership
Why most men’s ministries stall at surface-level events
The biblical mandate for discipleship (and Jesus’ model)
Core building blocks for men's ministry that survives outside the walls of the church.
Case Study: Yokefellows Men’s Community
The Hidden Motivations of Behavior (Children's Ministry)
AKA Hope for Weary Kid's Ministry Workers
Presented by Claire Turner, Lead Educator at Summit Outdoor Leadership
Motivation of Behavior dives into underlying needs contributing to negative behavior in the children we serve. The goal of this workshop is to equip children's ministry volunteers and caretakers to respond to challenges with confidence, resulting in healthier relationships with the children you serve. Whether you are a parent, an educator, or a ministry volunteer, this workshop is bound to unlock new strategies, leading to stronger connections and healthier communication, so you can spend less time managing behavior and more time sharing truth.
