TRAIL: 3.8 miles LOOP
Hilly loop hike with 3 cut-off options
1.3 mi. if you take the first cut-off trail (“Barred Owl Path”)
3.0 mi. if you take the second cut-off trail (“Roosevelt’s Cutoff”)
4.2 mi. if you complete the full loop.
Hilly terrain, partly shaded, multiple footbridges. Trail description:
“Travel the steep hills of Pine Gulch beneath a forest of towering loblolly pines. You’ll also see the remnants of 2015’s Hidden Pines wildfire.”
Bring sunscreen, water, & snacks.
