TPWD Bastrop State Park — Harmon Road Trailhead

  Please check into Bastrop State Park at the park office BEFORE driving to trailhead.

The Northern Trailhead Parking Lot on Harmon Road

Driving Directions from Park Office to Harmon Road Trailhead:

1. Drive straight ahead after checking in at Park Office

2. At stop sign, turn LEFT onto Park Road 1-A for 0.5 mile.

3. At the dam, turn RIGHT to cross over the dam and continue for 0.6 mile.

4. At the water cistern on the hill, turn LEFT onto Park Road 1-C for 1.3 miles.

5. Turn RIGHT onto Harmon Road for ¼ mile.

6. Park at the first pull-out for the trailhead.

TRAIL: ~1.7 miles Out & Back

Partly shaded, overlooking a deep valley, multiple footbridges.

Bring sunscreen, water, & snacks.
