Summer 2025
I – Invite God Into Your Words
Pray before you speak.
Ask God to help you speak with truth, grace, and love. When we invite Him into our conversations, we reflect His character.
“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” – Psalm 19:14
C – Connect with God’s Truth and People’s Hearts
Listen carefully, speak thoughtfully.
Good communication starts with understanding. Connect what you say to God’s Word and be mindful of how others feel.
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.” – James 1:19
E – Express with Love and Purpose
Let your words build others up.
Speak in ways that encourage, clarify, heal, or guide. Whether you’re teaching, apologizing, or just talking—let love lead.
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” – Ephesians 4:29
