Authentic Community
Each cohort designates a time & place to gather either weekly or bi-weekly. These gatherings consist of Bible study, leadership lessons, authentic conversations, and fatihful prayer. While virtual options are available for some cohorts, we believe in-person gatherings are most effective for building genuine relationships.
When you join a cohort, you’ll be a part of something bigger than yourself — you’ll grow and help others grow, too.

Biblical Perspectives
Using the Bible as our ultimate guide for truth, we’ll grow together as we study God’s Word and apply it to our lives and our leadership. Each cohort focuses not only on reading the Word together, but also implementing Biblical leadership principles that shape what we believe are the best leaders.
Our cohorts are designed to equip Christian leaders with biblically-based curriculum, but if you’re not a Christian, we’d love to introduce you to Jesus and see how He can transform your life through the experience of this cohort.

Leadership Principles
Here at SUMMIT, we believe the highest quality leaders exhibit growth in each of our 10 Core Leadership Skill Areas, and these serve as the pillars of our cohort curriculum.
These include Identity & Community, Knowledge & Wisdom, Servanthood & Stewardship, Excellence & Perseverance, and Vision & Action. During our cohort gatherings, we’ll collaborate on how we can intentionally apply these skill areas within our own spheres of influence.

Outdoor Experience
At the conclusion of each cohort session, we encourage you to attend a specific outdoor experience — whether a campout or retreat or single-day adventure — alongside your fellow cohort members.
This solidifies the feeling of community as you share a common experience, and you have an opportunity to experience God in a very real way in His creation. We challenge individuals to stretch out of their comfort zones in order to grow, and this is a great way to do so.

WILD Cohort - Fall 2023
Rooted in Him: a study of Colossians
Leadership Focus Areas: Identity & Community
This fall, we’ll meet on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 pm CST at our SUMMIT office, from September 12 to October 24, 2023. We ask that you commit fully by attending at least 6 out of our 7 gatherings. If you’re going to miss a cohort gathering, please notify your cohort leader ahead of time to ensure you receive any vital information shared during that session.
There is a virtual option as well for this cohort. If you join us virtually, we ask that you are fully engaged in our conversations with minimal distractions/interruptions.
All cohort members are encouraged to attend the Fall WILD Retreat on November 3-5, 2023, but it is not a requirement for cohort membership. More info about the retreat can be found under “Upcoming Events” on our website soon. Cohort members get $100 credit toward the retreat! (More info below) If you’re unable to attend the Fall WILD Retreat, you may use your credit toward a future WILD program within one calendar year.
Cohort membership is normally $250, but this specific session is only $125!
If you’re able to attend the WILD Retreat, $100 of your cohort fee can be applied toward your retreat registration!
To be considered for this cohort, please complete the application form below. Your membership fee will be collected upon acceptance into the cohort. There is no application fee.
Membership in this cohort includes:
weekly gatherings packed with leadership lessons, Bible study, and collaborative conversations,
a copy of the Bible study book we’ll read together,
$100 credit toward a WILD program within the next year,
access to one-on-one leadership coaching during the cohort season,
development of an authentic, supportive community,
membership in our Summit Alumni community, which includes special discounts and benefits
